Software Systems Engineer

Job Duties:

Responsible for the design, development, programming, testing and deployment of computer software applications including the sequence platform applications. Perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of the software development and validation lifecycle, established programming procedures, and customer requirements. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Interpret the written requirements and technical specifications as set by the client for their software. Collaborate with the Director of Sequence Development & Support to conceive the initial design and development of new software or extensive software revisions for internal and external use. Perform the coding and debugging of applications in various software languages that meet the technical specifications written by clients. Write and maintain programming documentation. Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.

Requirements:

Master’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or closely related field.

Must have experience with C#; MVC; Java; .Net; Agile; CSS; SSRS; SQL Server; MySQL; Oracle; Azure; and Cybersecurity and Validated Environments.

Experience gained during graduate coursework, as a graduate teaching assistant and/or toward graduation requirements will be accepted.

Able to work remotely from any location within the US.
